Portable Fire Extinguisher Training

Ideal Fire Ltd. can provide portable fire extinguisher training to comply with Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act.

Our portable fire extinguisher training course is provided in house by Adam Hennessy who provides practical and interactive courses. Each course can be tailored to suit your specific requirements.

The portable extinguisher training is targeted at managers, supervisors, or employees with responsibility for fire safety within your organisation.

Our interactive courses provide the participants with an in-depth knowledge of their duties in the event of a fire in the workplace.

It also provides knowledge and understanding of fire protection and detection systems.

Upon completion each participant will have an understanding and knowledge of the following.

• Classes of Fires
• Principles of Fire Prevention
• Types of Extinguishers
• The Correct use of Fire Extinguishers.
• Duties of the Fire Warden/Marshal
• Understanding of Fire Hazards in the Workplace
• Actions to be Taken in the Event of Fire
• Assist the Fire Brigade
• Be able to Ensure that the Fire Protection and Detection system are maintained correctly

​Participants will get to operate fire extinguishers and extinguish a fire in a controlled environment

Each participant who complete the course will be issue with a certificate

Fire drills can be completed as part of the course
